Bodegas Beronia, whose name refers to the denomination that received in the antiquity the area that we know today as La Rioja, is located in the municipality of Ollauri (Rioja Alta).

It was founded in 1973 by a small gastronomic gipuzkoan society that gathered to produce wines of own consumption. In a short time, Beronia became a reference winery for its reserves and large reserves, elaborated following the purest and traditional style of La Rioja. In 1982 González Byass joined Bodegas Beronia in his family of wine.

Its philosophy is based on three fundamental aspects: the quality of its wines, respect for the environment and its concern to investigate in the world of oenology but always maintaining the essence of La Rioja.
