Brands Sonsierra, Androsela, Pagos de la Sonsierra, Sonsierra Perfume Bodegas Sonsierra was born in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, in the heart of a region with unique characteristics for vine growing, where the Tempranillo grape finds its ideal habitat. In 1962, more than 240 winegrowers decided to pool their 430 hectares of vineyards, making a long-standing desire of the village’s farmers come true: the creation of a cooperative in which to produce their own wines. This is how Bodegas Sonsierra began, and after several generations cultivating their own vineyards with practices perfected over time, they have managed to produce wines with their own identity, a reflection of the landscape and the centuries-old winemaking tradition of our region.
