The first days of 2021 and the passage of the Filomena squall have given us a picture that we have not seen for many years.
Mountains, valleys, riverbanks, vineyards… the snow has made the Rioja Alta Wine Route even more beautiful and some of our wineries have not hesitated to upload their photographs to the social networks.
This has been done, for example, by Bodegas Marques de Vargas, which has shared these beautiful images on its Instagram profile that give a good account of the state of the vineyards also in the capital of La Rioja.
From Haro, we see this other beautiful photograph that Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta has posted on its social networks, indicating that the vines are delighted with this extra supply of water provided by the snow.
Another different perspective is offered by Bodegas Muga, also in Haro, which from its Instagram account takes us to a typical winter landscape.
Bodega El Arca de Noe has also photographed the wonderful images that Filomena has left on her way through San Asensio. Source: Instagram.
In our journey through the winter images of La Ruta del Vino Rioja Alta, we could not miss Bodegas David Moreno, in San Asensio, who has immortalised this copious snowfall in photographs as beautiful as this one and many others that you can see here.
The vineyards of Finca La Emperatriz have also been dyed white after the storm passed through Baños de Rioja, as shown in this snapshot.
We leave for the end this spectacular photo located in the Instagram profile of Bodegas Roda, in Haro. An image that sums up the fairytale landscapes that we have been able to enjoy over the last few days.
And although the snow has another less pleasant side, observing every corner of La Ruta del Vino Rioja Alta completely dyed in white is an image never to forget.
