Start San Asensio

Leave the village via “La Matilla” (we arrive here from the Plaza Nueva taking C/ Manuel Torres), until we reach the ring road on the road to Nájera. Cross the road and at this point you will find a post with a double arrow indicating the direction of the route.

After about 15 metres you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left-hand fork and continue in the same direction, crossing the motorway over the flyover. Once you have crossed the bridge over the motorway, continue straight on, leaving paths on both sides for 500 m, at which point you will come to a signpost indicating the turn to the right. In the background you will be able to see La Laguna.

Depending on the time of year and rainfall, the image of the lagoon will change. The route will be completed on the way back along the same path to San Asensio.
