Finding a venue for the annual corporate lunch can turn into something of an odyssey every Christmas. What if this year, instead of booking a table at the usual restaurant, you moved the celebration to a winery? Bodegas Montecillo suggests a change of scenery, bringing teams together at its original winery in Fuenmayor – a venue steeped in centuries of history – to see out the year.

The package allows for the organisation of lunches or dinners for up to 100 people, in either a sit-down or cocktail-style format. The catering is provided by some of the best caterers in La Rioja, with a choice of different menus, ranging from the most traditional to the most modern. And for those who wish to extend the day, the celebration can be rounded off with the winery’s usual activities: a guided tour or an escape room. Furthermore, each event can be tailored to the company’s needs and the type of celebration they wish to organise: concerts, dramatised tours or interactive wine tastings.

An Advent calendar with a taste of Rioja

Montecillo’s Christmas range will also be available at its Navarrete shop. From 1 to 23 December, an Advent calendar will offer a 10 per cent discount on a different wine every day. This initiative will be complemented by special gift sets featuring products from Montecillo and Osborne, alongside locally made crafts. An ideal choice for those looking for a unique gift, wishing to treat their colleagues, or wanting to plan ahead for the festive season’s toasts. These packs will be available exclusively at the Navarrete wine shop.
