This Easter, Altanza opens its doors to offer a unique experience designed for the whole family. While adults enjoy a guided tasting of three wines accompanied by an appetiser, children take centre stage in a fun Easter egg hunt. The experience begins with a brief tour of the winery for adults and children alike. Then, the children explore the landscaped cloister in search of eggs, surprises and little treasures while the adults enjoy a selection of wines, accompanied by a typical Rioja appetiser and our virgin olive oil. A perfect plan for enjoying an Easter day with the family.

    • Thursday, 2 April at 12 noon – TOUR + TASTING
      Guided tour of the winery, commentary-led tasting of three wines accompanied by our Altanza extra virgin olive oil and a typical Rioja appetiser: chorizo, salchichón and semi-cured cheese.
    • Friday, 3 April at 12 noon – EASTER AT ALTANZA
      Take a short tour of the winery and then, while the adults enjoy a wine tasting, the little ones can have fun searching for Easter eggs in a unique setting.
      Saturday, 4 April.
    • At 10:30 a.m. – TOUR + TASTING
      Guided tour of the winery, guided tasting of 3 wines accompanied by our Altanza extra virgin olive oil and a typical Rioja appetiser: chorizo, salchichón and semi-cured cheese.
    • At 1:00 p.m. – VERMUT & GOURMET TOUR
      • Vermouth tasting + gildas and selection of cold cuts + tasting of 2 wines and EVOO.
