To mark International Wine Tourism Day, Bodega CM in Matarromera will be holding an open day at its wine cellar. The event invites local residents, wine enthusiasts and visitors to discover one of the winery’s most unique spaces: the underground cellar dating from the 1920s. During the event, attendees will be able to explore the cellar at their leisure, take part in short guided tours, enjoy a glass of wine and purchase the winery’s wines directly from the cellar.

International Wine Tourism Day is the perfect occasion to open the winery’s doors and bring the world of wine closer to anyone who wants to learn about it, without needing to be an expert. It is also a unique opportunity for people to discover this marvellous cellar in the heart of the Rioja Alta Route.

Wine Walk Experience – Wine Trail

As part of the programme of activities and promotional events for Wine Tourism Month, the winery presents the Wine Walk Experience – Wine Trail. A circular walk alongside the winery through vineyards, past prehistoric rock art and ancient wine presses, followed by a tasting session in the cellars.
