11 September: Astronomy event with telescope viewing and wine tasting in La Rioja, Finca Valpiedra: A Night Under the Stars: A Journey Through the Universe.
Exploring the sky through a telescope is a mind-blowing experience. Seeing Saturn’s rings with your own eyes will leave you speechless. But, thanks to a huge telescope, you’ll also be able to see nebulae, star clusters and distant galaxies. Our stargazing session will be accompanied by a Star Tour, a guided tour of the night sky in which an astronomer will show us the most important stars and constellations, recounting their stories, legends and myths, and teaching us how to recognise them in the sky.

‘A Night Under the Stars: A Journey Through the Universe’ programme includes:

  • 7.00 pm Welcome
  • 7.15 pm Tour, wine tasting and aperitif (water and grape juice for children)
  • 8.30 pm Sunset
  • 21:00 – 22:30 Telescope viewing and astronomy talk
  • Bus option from Logroño at 18:30. Please contact the winery.
