Once again, we are delighted to present the activities that will form part of the 2025 edition, the second, of Bodegas Corral’s Open Harvest Days. This year, the Open Harvest events will run from 28 September to 9 November. Enjoy the experience with unique activities, where you can also visit the winery and enjoy a snack, included in each event.

Winemaker for a day

Create, taste and celebrate your unique wine.

Have you ever thought, after drinking a wine, that it lacked or had too much wood, that you would add some fruit, or that a little of another variety would improve the final result? Well, now you have the opportunity to demonstrate your sensitivity by creating a unique wine and becoming a winemaker for a day through this workshop. Throughout the activity, Bodegas Corral will provide you with tools and different single varietals so that you can create a wine with your own seal of quality. Beforehand, there will be a brief explanation so that participants can distinguish the aromas, characteristics and qualities of each grape variety.

At the end of the activity, you will have CREATED your OWN WINE, from the blend to the labelling. It will be a unique, authentic and singular wine.

Growing up with wine

You have probably wondered at some point what process turns a humble grape (or rather, several kilos of them) into wine. Through this experience, we will teach you about the wine-making process in a practical and interactive way, discovering the journey from grape to wine through its various stages.

During the visit, you will discover our winery like a true winemaker, learning to identify the aromas, flavours and textures that emerge at each stage of the process.

Along the way, you will discover the secrets of fermentation and ageing, how every decision in the winery influences the profile of the wine, and how the aroma, colour and mouthfeel change at each stage.

An educational, sensory and deeply revealing activity, ideal for wine lovers who want to go beyond the glass.

Rioja vs. Jumilla wine tasting

Are you also one of those who think that La Rioja produces the best wines not only in Spain, but in the world?

Well, in this activity we will put you to the test by taking you on a journey between two designations of origin with very different climates and territories: Rioja and Jumilla.

Through this activity, you will enjoy an exclusive tasting, savouring iconic wines from Bodegas Luzón in Jumilla and Bodegas Corral in La Rioja.

You will learn to differentiate the characteristics, qualities and notes of two protected designations of origin that are so different, yet at the same time united by the production of quality wines with unique personalities. Jumilla or Rioja? You decide which is your favourite!

Painting with wine

Through this unique experience, we will pair wine and painting, but also with some very special pigments, created from red grapes!

The activity includes a visit to the winery and a workshop where you will personalise your own bottle and taste two wines accompanied by an appetiser.

European Wine Tourism Day

Two very special days to celebrate wine tourism!
