The exhibition, produced by the Aesclick Association, is part of the events marking the 800th anniversary of the appointment of Blessed Mª Urraca as abbess. Until the end of the year, the exhibition ‘La Beata Mª Urraca: Fe y Aventuras en el Mundo Playmóbil’ can be visited in the Cloister of the Monastery of Cañas, an exhibition that is part of the programme ‘Legado de Luz’ that is being developed throughout this 2025 to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the appointment of the Blessed as abbess.
The Aesclick association has faithfully recreated the period in which this illustrious woman from La Rioja lived, with a few winks for children. In addition, the Monastery itself has been reproduced with great accuracy, with scenes that are surprisingly realistic, such as the area of the church with the altarpiece or even the chapter house with the tomb of Blessed Mª Urraca.
The diorama has a surface area of 2.40 metres wide by 10 metres long and ‘Vitoclick, Moniclack, Sacinete, Agus, Robinclick, Hispano, Sanmillán, Erika, Playpucela, Clickbill, Aleta and Burgobil have participated in its assembly and in providing the pieces’, as the president of Aesclick explained.
