With the idea of preserving the high international impact of this major world event for the tourism industry, at a time when the fair plays a critical role in the recovery of tourism, IFEMA and the FITUR Organizing Committee have decided to postpone the usual dates for the 41st edition of FITUR 2021. Therefore, next year, the appointment with tourism will be 19 to 23 May at Feria Madrid.

Many members of the Rioja Alta Wine Route have actively participated in previous FITUR fairs and, due to the current situation and how it has affected everyone, the recovery of the tourist business is of vital importance.

These new dates have been considered in order to preserve their high international impact and, with it, to favour the professional re-encounter of companies, countries and destinations and the so necessary impulse of the world tourism activity.

IFEMA is focusing all its efforts on presenting an edition designed to contribute to the recovery of tourism at a time when the dynamic role of FITUR is critical and decisive

FITUR has the unanimous support of the Spanish tourism industry and is currently the second most important fair in the world and the first in its impact on the Latin American sphere. Each edition brings together more than 11,000 companies from 165 countries, as well as official representatives from many of the world’s nations.

It is also the largest event in Spain in the tourism business, with more than 250,000 attendees from all over the world, as well as in innovation and promotion of new tourism segments, technological leadership in tourism management, and knowledge transfer tools.
