For the first one we suggest you have to get up early, a real challenge if you’re on holiday, but the result will be worth it. Flying in a hot-air balloon over the Rioja Alta Wine Route is a unique and unforgettable experience that you can enjoy whether you come with your family, friends, alone or as a couple. We come down to earth and change means of transport. We leave the balloon and move on to an off-road 4×4 vehicle with driver and guide with which you will ascend to some of the mountains of La Rioja that offer the most spectacular views. From the Obarenes Mountains to the Sonsierra, a 2-3 hour route, with a stop for lunch, offered by our partner, the active tourism company OjaSport.
Do you prefer to drive your own vehicle? Climb aboard one of their quads, single or double, and let yourself be guided by our guides to discover the landscapes of La Rioja. You choose the duration and characteristics of the route: there are routes that last one hour, others last between three and four hours… some include wine tasting and a visit to a winery, others include fun tests…

We have already used the balloon, the 4×4 off-road vehicle, the kayak and the bicycle… Now it’s time for the oldest and most used means of transport in the world: our legs. These are, for sure, the ones that will take us the furthest. Those who have completed the Camino de Santiago by one of its routes know it well. And you, if you want, you can also feel what it means to be a pilgrim for a few hours.
