David Moreno receives the Mercurio Vida Empresarial Award

David Moreno Peña, founder of David Moreno Winery has been recognized with the prestigious Mercury Business Life Award 2020. An award that endorses his career of more than 30 years at the head of these wineries built in Badarán, his home town, in 1988.

A whole life dedicated body and soul to his winery has paid off. Not in vain, these awards given by the Marketing Club of La Rioja for 39 years are one of the most coveted by the business network of La Rioja.

The jury of the Mercury Awards has defined David as “a hard-working, brave, generous man, and a magnificent wothy of this award. A visionary who has created this winery with a lot of effort, dedication and care”.

For David Moreno, this award represents the effort, passion and love he has lavished throughout his business career. And these are values that the winemaker has transmitted to his two daughters Gemma and Paula, and to the rest of his team.

Today they make wines with their own identity that show the typical features of this area of Rioja, the Alto Najerilla, whose high altitude vineyards and old vines give their wines personality, quality and respect for the Terroir.
