Facing the meander of the Ebro River, the Enbrión winery is located in La Cueva del Americano, from where you can see, feel and appreciate any sensation that originates from the vineyards or the Ebro River itself. A small family business that for more than 30 years has been developing and dedicating itself to viticulture with some 20 hectares of vineyards and producing the native fermentation yeast of the D.O.C. Rioja. A 17th century cave The Cueva del Americano is the nerve centre of the Enbrión winery, of our vital project. Where old stories are told and new ones are created. The renovation of the cave has been a long process, we have put a lot of effort and patience into it, but the result fills us with enthusiasm and joy. We are part of the Grupo Vitivinícola Piérola, a family group that was founded with the founding of Bodegas Fernández de Piérola in 1996. Marcas Rual y El Capricho de Ana. Bodegas Ruiz Alfaya is a family winery that cultivates its own vineyards in an absolutely privileged area, located in Castilseco, Rioja Alta. We treasure the knowledge of our generations, we pamper our vineyards with the passion that our ancestors have passed down to us for centuries, combining the history and culture of this wonderful enclave of Castilseco, which enjoys a privileged location in the foothills of the Obarenes Mountains. The winery has its own vineyards, covering an area of approximately 17 hectares, located in the Rioja Alta, between the municipalities of Sajazarra, Cuzcurrita de Rio Tirón and Villalba de Rioja. The largest percentage of hectares are in Castilseco, where the winery is also located.
