The Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) has announced the 7th edition of its Wine Tourism Awards ‘Wine Routes of Spain’, to recognise the work carried out by companies and territories to improve the quality and the wine tourism offer of our country, the vast majority of which are represented by Wine Routes of Spain.
These biennial awards highlight the commitment to a different type of tourism in which the culture and wine-making tradition of Spain become the driving force of the rural environment. Therefore, if you have an establishment that you love as soon as you see it, if you offer an innovative experience or if you are committed to sustainability, don’t hesitate, apply.
The deadline for submitting applications is open until 5 July 2024. Those institutions, wineries, restaurants, wine shops, hotel establishments, museums, travel agencies, etc. that are part of ACEVIN’s Wine Routes of Spain product club with projects that fit into one of these 14 categories may do so:
Best Wine Tourism Initiative

These prizes are non-monetary. The eligibility criteria for each category, the rules and the entry forms can be consulted on the Rutas del Vino de España website www.wineroutesofspain.com.
A professional and multidisciplinary jury, made up of representatives of the Administration, the wine and tourism sectors, and critics, journalists and experts of recognised prestige, will be responsible for selecting the best proposals submitted to the competition.
The Wine Tourism Awards ‘Wine Routes of Spain’ are part of the actions of promotion and support for the marketing of the Spanish Wine Routes tourism product that are developed in collaboration with the Secretary of State for Tourism, TURESPAÑA and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The involvement of all of them, in addition to the agreements with other organisations such as the State Platform for the Physically Disabled (PREDIF), the Spanish Association of Wine Tourism and Gastronomic Tourism (EG), the Spanish Conference of Wine Regulatory Councils (CECRV) or the Interprofessional Organisation of Spanish Wine (OIVE), and the constant work of all the partners of each of the Wine Routes, has positioned the Wine Routes of Spain as a national reference point for wine tourism.
