Arizcuren Bodega y Viñedos was founded in 2015 to give continuity to the work that its founder had been carrying out since 2009 in the viticulture, winemaking and wine marketing sector. The vineyards are in Quel, on the northern slopes of the Sierra de Yerga, while the winery where the wines are made is located at c/Isabel, 10 Bajo, in Logroño. It is therefore an urban winery.
In Arizcuren we have been developing a tourist activity since our origins based fundamentally on the location of our winery in the centre of Logroño, the tradition and the traditional and minority varieties of our area.
Other information of interest:
We use innovative ageing methods, such as the use of unlined amphorae.
Visits to the winery
- Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 10:00-18:00 and Sunday from 10:00-14:00.
- Languages: Spanish, English. German on request.
- Visits: Urban Cellar (Logroño). Monday to Friday: 10:30/13:00/16:30. Saturdays: 10:30/13:00/17:00. Sunday: 10:30/13:00.
Wine tastings (Logroño): To be arranged, although we normally offer them from 15:00-16:00 (except weekends).
Alma de Arizcuren (visit to the vineyards): To be agreed (normally from 9:00-9:30 and the return is usually at 15:00-15:30). Every weekday except September and October.
Javier Arizcuren Experience (Logroño): To be arranged.
