Ruta del Vino Rioja Alta
Brands Ayagar. Bodegas Ayagar was founded in 2004, located in the historic Rioja village of Hormilleja, whose ancestral cultivation of vines has left an indelible memory for this village in the chimneys of the caves dug into the rock and many metres deep, where the wine produced by each neighbour was and is currently stored. According to documentation, the land of Hormilleja is considered to be one of the most privileged areas for the production of vines, which is more than enough reason to create the first winery to market wines with the Rioja Designation of Origin in the village of Hormilleja and thus demonstrate the great quality of its wines. Its facilities are equipped with modern advances in the world of wine which, combined with its good work and great respect for the grape, make our wines a WINE WITH SOUL. The winery also has a barbecue grill and a large dining room where typical Riojan dishes are served. The dining room is only open to groups and by prior reservation. Visits to the winery
