Do you have a business or are you thinking of starting a business in rural areas? If so, we encourage you to participate in an information day on sustainable competitiveness organised by YMCA with the collaboration of ADRA and other entities and municipalities of Rioja Alta. This conference is part of the Hub Rural NET project that seeks to promote entrepreneurship in rural areas and the creation of an ecosystem that interacts with the agents of the environment, mainly companies and entities, to promote socio-economic development.
The conference will take place on Thursday 4 April, from 9.00 to 17.00 at the Rioja Culture Centre in Logroño. It is completely free of charge but requires prior registration, which can be done through this link.
The concept of Sustainable Competitiveness is within the framework of the 2030 Agenda, becoming an element of value and difference for the market of each sector, so participating in the conference can be of great interest.
One of the current challenges is to transform businesses in order to meet sustainability objectives. In rural areas, in particular, there are numerous opportunities for the creation, consolidation and growth of projects. It is presented as an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial actions that favour the socio-economic development of each respective environment, population settlement and attraction of talent.
To this end, during the day there will be time to listen to speeches on sustainable competitiveness in the framework of European and international policies and the challenge of change. There will also be a round table on managing change in business culture, in which several companies and institutions will participate. Afterwards, there will be time for focus groups, reflection groups where specialised content on different topics will be shared. The day will end with a lunch to expand the network of contacts and business among those who participate.
