A complex of 17 tourist apartments of different types and capacities, newly opened last October and equipped with all amenities, TV, air conditioning and fully equipped kitchens. Newly renovated building in the heart of Logroño’s historic centre, refurbished in a sustainable manner in accordance with AENOR standards, emission-free, with aerothermal energy for air conditioning and hot water and energy reinforcement with photovoltaic panels. It has a laundry room, a common room with self-service catering, free Wi-Fi, etc. On the ground floor there is a hostel for pilgrims, given its location on the Camino de Santiago. The establishment will open to the public in 2025 and will have nine studio-type rooms and eight rooms with two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room. Brands HOPLITAWINES is a boutique winery located in the old town of Logroño. The winery is dedicated to the production of wines from a single plot or ‘terroir’ wine, located in the municipalities of San Asensio and Briones. Old vineyards and in some cases centenary, with an average age of over 90 years. We have recovered the winemaking process in the Old Town of Logroño, in the old Palace of the Count of Murillo and Bornos and in a cellar of an old winery, all of them dating from the beginning of the 16th century….. This is the spirit of HOPLITA, to care for and preserve both the historic vineyards and the heritage of our region. HOPLITAWINES is dedicated to the ‘deconstruction’ of claret wine. Our plots were planted for the production of claret wine, ‘claret de San Asensio’, we produce the white grapes separately from the reds, making 2 wines per plot. We work the vineyard and winemaking from parameters of respect and sustainability, several plots are only worked exclusively by hand, without any type of mechanisation and we have managed to reduce energy consumption by more than 75%, also working on the capture of CO2 in several projects. Brands Marqués de Vargas Hacienda Pradolagar Our history goes back to 1840 when Don Felipe de la Mata, VIII Marquis of Vargas, planted the first vines at Hacienda Pradolagar. Don Pelayo de la Mata, XI Marquis of Vargas and tireless promoter of this project, fulfilled his father’s dream in 1989 by building the current “Château” style winery. Bodegas y Viñedos del Marqués de Vargas is today a solid family project where we produce limited editions of exclusive premium wines made with grapes from our own vineyards. A dream come true. Other information of interest: At Bodegas y Viñedos del Marqués de Vargas we stand out for our production, exclusively, of wines for ageing. To do so, we use our own grapes from the 50 hectares we have at Hacienda Pradolagar. From the A-13, exit 4 towards Logroño centre on the N-111. At the third roundabout, turn right onto Av. de la Sonsierra. After passing two roundabouts, at the third roundabout, on the left, in a large car park, is the area. It is next to the sports complex, has shaded areas and the town centre is about 10 minutes away on a quiet walk through a green area. Bus no. 9 leaves you in the centre. More info: +34 941 273 353. It is also possible to spend the night (in battery) in the Parking de Las Norias, a few metres from the area. The Local Police recommends not to park Acs in the surroundings of the swimming pools, in the summer months, in order not to harm the users of these facilities. The car park is large and can be shared logically. On Sunday mornings (next to the area) there is a street market with regional products. Festivals of San Mateo and the Grape Harvest in September.
